萱安,毕业于武汉大学新闻系摄影专业,获第13届中国摄影金像奖。湖北宜昌市群众艺术馆研究馆员,武汉传媒学院外聘教授,云南大学文化旅游学院教授,三峡大学客座教授。《消失的佛像》获西双版纳国际摄影节最佳摄影师大奖;《谁的房间》、《归山》(与颜长江合作)参加连州国际摄影节展;2012年获大理国际摄影节10佳先锋摄影师奖;《束缚与运动》获“艰巨历程”全国摄影公开赛最佳构思奖;《远祖》获全国青年摄影大赛最佳构思奖;《纤夫》参展“上海第一届国际摄影展。2020获得第十三届中国摄影金像奖。2021年参加北京当代艺术博览会及第七届影像上海艺术博览会。
